Many and variated aspects of the port and the iberian World are displayed in the museum . The maritime trade with the Greeks , domestic life , clothing , religión and jobs are all exhibited .
The Roman Port named “Portus illicitanus “ by the ancient geographers is the source of numerous materials wich demostrate the development o fan important commercial activity on our coast .Many ítems stard out the Roman Villa of the palmeral , with its luxurious mosaics , the fishing tools which come from the Roman fish salting factory , the manufactured products imported from other provinces in the Empire Duch as glass , luxury ceramics pottery, potttery oil lamps , ornaments , personal adornments, and , of course ,the important coin collection.
